I love their food. everything is awesome, great atmosphere!
We had lunch here on a Friday afternoon in between wineries. The place has the usual pub atmosphere and was charming.
The service was good and the reuben sandwich was ginormous with tons of meat and kraut. Delish!!! When we told the waitress we were splitting the sandwich, she brought it out in two baskets for us. A thoughtful touch. The fries were seasoned fries and were excellent as well.
I would definitely eat here again.
great food & good service: I have been to this place several times after hiking at starved rock. They serve a great lunch and there burgers and soups are great. The place is in an old historic building with a tin ceiling that is nice to see. its also filled up with lots of antiques.I highly reccomend this place as a good place to dine.
**Update** 4/1/07- After a day of hiking we stopped here for lunch and ordered a corn beef sandwich, fries & iced tea my lady had a fish sandwich which she really enjoyed. What I thought was neat was the deep fried mushrooms that we got as appetizers. they were HUGE and we couldn't believe how big they were gigantic is more the word. They give you dipping sauce and with like 9 of them we could only eat 5 of them.I tell you if your visiting Utica or starved rock like I do, this is the place to go.
