User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe hostess at this restaurant was extremely rude. When I tried to point out a discrepency in the menu, she told me, as if I were a child being scolded, "I am not going to change my menu." If I hadn't been there because of a family reunion I would have left immediately. I wasn't given a chance to explain. I will NEVER go back there. The rest of the family was shocked as well. Even if the food were worth it they deserve only a zero.

If you want bad service and bad food then this is the place you want to patronize. If you are a Chicago vacationer you are more welcomed than the local crowd. This place is going down hill fast. If you want better food, great service, and a better atmospere....go across the street to Skoogs. Don't say that I did not warn you.

I go to Canal Port regularly and always have a positive experience. I don't think that they're over-priced, especially in comparision with the other places in town- their prices are the same or even lower and are of better quality. Good place to stop for a sandwich for lunch or have a nice dinner by the fireplace in the dining room.. an all-around good place to eat!
