| About: | Firehouse Pizza was started in 2003. With all the fast food type pizza place in town, we saw a desire in Peoria for a new, quality pizza with a variation of taste. Our pizza is set apart for the competition because we don+t cut corners. We take the time to make sure that the pizza you and your family orders is the quality of pizza you expect. Our crust is made using a process that takes 24 hours. This ensures the yeast has time to work, giving the crust the best possible flavor and crsipiness. |

I lived in Peoria for a few years, and for the most part that whole town sucked. every pizza place I tried was god awful!! This was an over-priced pizza to say the least-they like crumbly ground sausage all over Peoria-rude restaurant, rude area and, well all-over suck place-yeah I tried to give it all a chance-screw-em! back to another sad display for pizza in this area!!! I am from Springfield, IL and now live in South Bend, IN both areas, and Pizza places in both are so much better! Jaunt over to Bloomington, IL or Champaign, Il for real Pizza-Oh and Chicago, Indy, St. Lou anywhere but here!
Best Pizza in this area can be found at Casey's General Store-LMAO!!!
I like to hear people complain about things. The one guy said pizza delivered cold and the other said it is way overpriced and that he would call the large a medium. I did some checking and a large at firehouse pizza is 14", this is standard for most pizza places, they have an x-tra large 16". Some pizza places do call their 16" a large, example monicals, monicals large 16" is 14.75 for a cheese pizza and firehouse 16" x-large is 13.50. I would say their prices are comparable to others and you also pay for quality. I believe even a Papa johns 16" cheese is as much if not more than firehouse. Everyone has an opinion of what they like or dislike and luckily because of this we have many different pizza places to eat, the only way to know is to try it yourself and then you decide if you like it or not. Remember one mans trash is another mans treasure.
The worst pizza in Peoria. It was delivered cold and terrible. Seriously you can order Monicals, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Nick and Willies, and all gas station pizza before ordering at Firehouse. Dont do it!!
