I worked for the county as a supervisor at a 77,000 sq. ft. facility and was responsible for all aspects of maintenance, housekeeping and security of the building which housed a medical clinic, daycare center, nursing school, childrens clinic, behvioral health center, as well as many office areas.
We needed a cleaning company that would be able to handle the multible types of cleaning and special requests by the occupants of the facility as well as meet our stringent rules as well as the proposal requirements of the county. We also needed a company whose rates would fit our rather tight budget limits.
Design-A-Maid not only met all of the requirements, they went above and beyond the contract on any number of occations when we had major emergencies such as flooding, biological contaminant clean ups, and fast response times for any additional requests outside the contract. Never once did I hear them say "we don't do that". I always recieved the responses "what can we do to help" or "we will have someone there right away to take care of it".
When the facility was sold to a local hospital, Design-A-Maid was asked to remain the cleaning company and is still there. My job ended with the county and was taken over by several department heads at the hospital. I was however, so taken with the customer service and flexability of the Design-A-Maid company that I now work for them as their Commercial Account Manager.
