The Courier Cafe was very good. The vegetable soup was real and tasty. I liked my Veggie Dagwood, and after tasting my companions Reuben, we agreed that it was the best Reuben we recall anywhere. The coffee/chocolate cookie was good, too - slightly crispy and slightly chewy with a satisfying flavor, and without being too sweet.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner... I don't care what meal you have there, it all rocks! If you have a little bit of a sweet tooth, be sure to try a phosphate and a milkshake. They're incredible! Also, they're the only place I know of (after the demise of Ned Kelley's) that has curry salad dressing. Delicious! I wish they would bottle and sell it. It's my favorite salad dressing.
The Courier rocks, because the food is consistently good. I think most reviewers write about their lunch and dinner. But you have to try their breakfast! It is wonderful!
