User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI totally agree. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure I walk away with what I need. They give honest assessments about the merits of the products in the store and have great tips about projects. I also appreciate that they don't assume I don't know what I am looking for or how to do basic household maintenance. I've definitely had some frustrating experiences at Lowe's where it seemed like I was being given a hard sell or jerked around because I was a woman. Never at True Value though. Also a far nicer shopping experience with kids as they give them free popcorn.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI agree with the first review. I only purchase small amounts (dollar value) and I am always treated very well. I wish I had more things break in my house so I could (would have to) shop there more often. Places like this are hard to find but they believe in SERVICE.
