Sir: Had called to inform of small group of co-worker for birthday party. I had ask that there would be a gratituty. Since each person was leaving their own tip. The male that answered my question told me there would not be one. Some receipts were wrote on and some were added in receipt the gratituty. I feel that this was wrong doing. Many of my co-workers will not be back because of this. You, yourself know that word by mouth could have a impact on your business. I, myself cater to your business at least once a month, however I won't be back. This is not the way to handle a transaction in a business. Your prime rib was tough and dry and some of your other products were not up to the standards of your price charging the evening meal. Since in my opinion you are not there the place has not been the same. I know that you are busy with your other store but we really miss you here. I would appreciate a reply if possible.

Think of the standard, garden variety Chinese buffet, stretch it out by triple variety, add a half dozen surprisingly well prepared dishes, and add VERY good sushi: That's the Ming's restaurant chain.

They have better than average presentation and quality overall so they charge for it as well.

    - Every day really good Chinese Buffet: Morris Chinese Buffet.
    - Occasional change for just a tad upscale: Ming's.
    - The best street level sushi? Todai's in Schaumburg.

I loved Ming's. I love shrimp...so I was in shrimp paradise. The Chinese food part mediocre, but the seafood was really good. As many others said before me, it's priced pretty reasonably for what you receive. So I would say, if you're ever in Bloomington-Normal, check it out.
