Argosy used to be a fun casino to go to. Unfortunately, there are so many others who do a whopping business and can afford better payouts. I have been turned off by losing big bucks when I go there. If they don't start paying a little better, they'll be out of business!

Argosy Alton Bell Shame on your for calling yourself a Casino. You are a money hungry, money sucking hole of a worn out river boat. ATTN VISITORS TO ST LOUIS AREA AVOID ARGOSY CASINO, Your money will go quicker than it does at the gas pump. The staff is rude, the buffet is TERRIBLE, never fresh, lots of fly's and other flying insects around the tables and food. I know with gambling you win some and loose some, but at Alton Bell Argosy you will with out a doubt always loose alot. It is not worth the 30 mile drive even if you are going that way for something else. Trust me I am a St Louis Local been there too many times and always come home empty handed and mad at myself for going again. I will not waste another trip there in hopes of winning even a little, or getting to play on 100 dollars longer than 20 minutes on pennys, or nickels. I can always give money away closer to home.
