User Rating: 5 out of 5 stars10/21/09 The food is good (did go through a rough patch in April) but we are enjoying it again. I've sent things like French fires back because I like them 'crisp' and never had a problem with the waitress or the cooks. The specials are very reasonable, place is always clean and I've found the waitresses to be very friendly! My advice if you have a bad meal and the owners aren't there is to tell the them your experience - if not then leave them a note! They want to hear from you so they can improve anything that may not be to your satisfaction. They are a young couple who have worked very hard to have a good business! May have complained about taxes (who hasn't?) -- but I happen to know they contribute to everything in the community.

I used to love tonis. Great food and decent prices. We were going at least 4 times a week for dinner and then breakfast on the weekends. Saturday we went there and the hashbrowns werent done and the toast was not toast! I told the waitress and she said that she would take care of that for me and never did! Tonight we went there and ordered chicken, The cooks made a big deal about it because my husband only wanted legs, The cook said "Our chickens dont have legs, if you want them then go to KFC." Next time I will, trust me! They sent out white gravy istead of brown. They made us pay full price again and none of it had even been eaten. The switch workers like I do my underwear. All the decent waitresses are all gone. I will never go back to tonis again. This was the draw right here!

I have to agree with Elaines view I'm not going back either two weeks ago we ordered a meat skillet for breakfast and it was terrible then this Friday we tried again the salad was so strong smelling we couldnt eat it then the deep fried shrimp was raw in the middle and to top it off the 2 cooks decided to both go for a break at the same time and I didn't notice them washing their hands when they came back in and when the waitress told them we weren't happy with our meal they did nothing about it.

i know exactly what you mean the past few months they have went down hill. My gizzard were like jerky my husbands meatloaf was raw and nasty. We were eating in there about 3 weeks ago and the owner came through and was talking to her usual people and having the baby but then had the nerve to complain about her taxes on her house are way to high. Ha i had to laugh because i dont think they pay a dime to live in this country. After all this town has been through with the school she has the nerve to complain about taxes!! the wait staff is rude and only care about going outside to smoke. I have not got a good waitress for months. I will not go there again and if everyone continues to stop going there maybe they will have to live like real americans, without a 100 thousand dollar house for free. Welcome to america i hope they shut the doors on them all they care about is the money. not keeping customers or making them happy.
