User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWow is this place good. I would have never guessed one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Midwest would be found in Mattoon. My only regret is that I didn't eat here more often while I lived down here. If you are going to eat out regularly, this place MUST be in your rotation.

Hunans has and will always be our favorite restaurant. We try to save it for the big occasions, but can't help but eat it when we crave it - which is practically everyday!!! Mae mixes an incredible and generous portion of vegetables with the dishes which make them both delicious and healthy! Such fresh ingredients! The plating presentation is always a unique treat as well!!! (special plating comes extra special when you order off the newer menu) - 5 stars! The flowers and decorations are so beautiful too!
