We are often able to catch improper installations during our routine inspections at our customers' homes. Some are safety issues and others are issues that lead to water entry and structural damage to portions of the chimney, fireplace or the home itself. Most of these issues can be fixed or repaired relatively inexpensively if they are caught early. Long term deterioration can be repaired also, but at a significantly more cost to the homeowner.
