Sushi Bar - Made Fresh Daily, Party Rooms Available Upto 100 Guests, Military Discount - Every Tuesday, Included With Buffet, Hibachi Grill Available Everyday, Carry Out Or Dine In, Best Chinese Cuisine
This is already the second time we enjoy a comprehensive dinner buffet. First when you come in, it is a simple, not with any high comfort established place. You will be seated in as in most chinese buffets. Once you have taken your seat and chosen your drink, you make your way to the counters. For a low priced buffet the variety is very reasonable and should even satisfy the most hungry Big Boy! To our surprise you will always find crab legs available. The explanation is simple: they do serve them ice cold! Not a pleasure at all and you need to be a toughliner to get more than 1 plate into your tomach. But who cares, they have often very tender roasted duck available. Give it a try! The sushi side right next to the mongolian bbq is fair but definately not the best. The choice in this buffet is once again very adequate and for the present price of $8,95 for a dinner buffet (June 2009) a place you should definately visit. PS. If only the crab legs are warm!
I (and I should say "we," as my fiance agrees), I highly recommend this resturant in the category of Chinese/oriental food. It has a wide variety of food - from the Mongolian BBQ, to about 5 types of sushi always set out, then all the other standard items, such as beef and brocolli, General Tsao's chicken, etc. They even have a desert bar with fruit and pudding, and an ice-cream machine. If you'd like a garden salad, they have a salad bar, too. I eat out almost every night of the week, within a 30 mile radius of Saint Louis, and I honestly mean this - item for item, dollar for dollar, I have yet to encounter a resturant this good. The service has always been superb as well, and I usually eat at gingers once a week for the last year or so. I'd definitely give Gingers a five-star rating.
