I had never been to Blue Springs in Highland IL. So I looked online to see what I could find out about the place. I found this site that had reviews about the place. There were 3 reviews, 1 very bad, 2 great.
The first review I read was from mannsmith7, it wasn't a very good first impression. So my wife & I decided to go see for ourselves.
It was on a Saturday night at 6:30 pm, the place was almost full, but we were still seated quickly. We were waited on very quickly, & warmly.
Everyone, the staff,& the customers were all friendly as if we were family.
When I needed my drink refilled, I put it on the end of the table & not 30 seconds later someone asked if I needed a refill.
The food was great, the people were great, we recommend going there & seeing for yourself. We loved it.

I'm fascinated at the other reviews. It was HORRIBLE! Everything (chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes) very bland. Drink slow, you won't be re-filled during the meal. The cashier stopped to put socks on her feet and this was also our waitress. YUK. Not clean. It was a waste of money and time for our family. Will never be back. sorry.

FABULOUS FOOD & SUPER PIES!: We make regular trips to this restaurant for the fabulous food and pies. Everything's always fresh and the "foot-high" pies are a sight to see when you go in. Help is always friendly and prices very reasonable.
