    Has Stood the Test of Time: I have used Burkland's since I was 8 years old. My first purchases were small--a single scraggly pink petunia for my mother for 15 cents. I was a little rag-a-muffin and the employees were always kind and generous. They would wrap my purchase in colored foil for free. For nearly 50 more years I sent flowers from Burkland's for numerous occasions, usually to my mother. Three years ago they did my mother's funeral. The work was extraordinary and the service compassionate. The flowers were beautiful and unique but best of all they were personalized to reflect her love of hummingbirds and bright colors. These florists went way beyond reasonable effort to make them exactly what we wanted them to be. Spectacular.
