User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI wish there was a rating "Lower than Awful...like Disgusting!"..because I am totally discussed by their treatment of my patronage..my personal being,and their business practices. We called Crawford Electric..to do a big electrical job for us..not a small job by any means...replace a fuse box and add three designated outlets for heaters in the winter..and air in the summer..amounting to thousands of dollars in work. This was back in August..We kept calling, giving them the benefit of the doubt..and they kept saying they were just busy..however still interested in doing the job. Again..another month went by..and They contacted us...asking us if we were still interested in them doing the job..we said yes...they said they would call back..again..another month passed....they were going to do the job finaly... Yesterday I received their call, set up an appointment for 3:30. I waited and waited..and waited..and finally gave up. Called the next day. and was told..and I quote.." Yes, we did Drive By and Decided NOT to do the job." unquote. like I said...Not only is this bad business practices..its Bad Business Ethics! "Do not judge a book by its cover." I know my home is old, I know it needs repairs, this is what we are trying to do..its discrimination...and made me feel degraded.
I would not recommend you use this company for anything..unless you like being treated like dirt, your business does not matter to them...because they were given plenty of opportunity to simply say "we don't have time for the job." so we could have looked elsewhere for another contractor. Again...bad business practice and ethics.

As a general contractor out of Chicago area, I have never seen or delt with such terrible business ethics!!
I needed a job done in Flat Rock IL. and was pushed off for months.
I gave this company the benifit of doubt because I was told they were just so busy. So I waited for my turn in line, so to speak.
Well, I finaly get a call that they were going to go look at the job. I notified the residence, that they were coming, they DID not show.
So I called to see what happened, and was told,,,they drove by and decided they werent intersted!!!!
Again, as a general contractor, this company will NEVER be considered or thought of by me or any other state wide contractors I deal with...
This certainly is not how WE do business!!

My home is the residence CRC, Inc. is referring to..what ever happened to "Do not judge a book by its cover." I know my home is old, I know it needs repairs, this is what we are trying to do. This company kept us waiting for months, saying they were interested in doing the job,then to drove past my home and decide NOT to do the job...is not only bad business practices..its discrimination...and made me feel degraded.
