BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COURTHOUSE INN!!!!
My husband and I booked the Courthouse Inn for our daughter's wedding on July 18, 2009. We paid for 100 people, which she quoted us one price and then 6 days before the wedding increased the price $4.00 per person. We were stuck and instead of causing a problem with her, the owner, we paid the extra money. Well, on the day of the wedding my husband went into her restaurant and spoke with her to make sure that everything was okay and on track for that evening's event and she assured my husband it was. Well, it wasn't. She had her employees show up with enough food for only 50 people. She sent one tray of mashed potatoes, 100 pieces of chicken, that included alot of wings, a very small amount of beef and green beans. The only thing she sent that was sufficient was salad. The entrepreneurs of the establishment the reception was being held at had to call the Courthouse Inn to get the owner to bring more food over. The food arrived late, of course, once everyone had finished what they could get and we had to then transfer it to being a buffet. We have received no phone call from the owner, no apology or refund for the bad service and bad treatment.
BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COURTHOUSE INN. WE CAN NO LONGER TRUST THIS BUSINESS TO ACT IN A BUSINESS LIKE MANNER AND PROVIDE WHAT THEY WERE PAID TO PROVIDE.
I have eaten here numerous times and found the food only fair. The service is very poor. Once they were out of beef and offered walleye instead? I still can't figure that out. Try the LongBranch instead.
Nicely decorated, great food and friendly service.

Yes they did have to pay extra after their daughter added salad's. Plus having to hire more people to work. I also sent 50 pounds of ribeye roll. As soon as 1 of my people called to say they needed more food I started cooking it so that is why it was late it had to cook. Plus I depended on my emplyees to do their job so we made a mistake. But did they really need to make 2 of the girls cry, by yelling at them when it was my fault not theirs. I did send my apolgies to them, plus tried making it right. Martha
