User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is it!: Vacationing near Lake Shelbyville, it can come as a surprise that there are few nice places to eat. We looked very hard one evening and came upon the Longbranch Grill just across the street from the darling movie theatre downtown.
The main room is plain and simple, with the bar in the corner. But the server was a pro and our food came out hot and quick and delicious. We had good salads, a nice piece of catfish, yummy pork tenderloin, and huge baked sweet potatoes served with butter and brown sugar.
This was the best meal of our stay in the Lake Shelbyville area and would happily recommend this little spot to any other travelers. The locals like it too, as it was filling up on a Wednesday night.
