    Plus, the fried pickles at Sloan's are a good complement to their pizza. Decatur has some bomb pizza, for real!!

    I grew up in the Chicago area in the time where thin and crispy was Chicago Pizza. After meeting my hubby who is from Decatur, this is one of the first places he brought me. I couldn't get enough. Every time we were in Decatur we had to stop in for a Delight. In turn all of our kids love it as their favorite pizza too! Although we live 60 miles away and have found another likable pizzeria, Del Carmen's is by far the best pizza in the country! We try to find excuses to make a trip any day of the week. Keep up the good work and always great service.

    Best Pizza: Born and raised in Springfield, Vics Pizza was always at the top of my list but too far to drive to. I found Del Carmens and ahhhh what great food. Their lunch pizzas are the best I've found.
