We stopped here for lunch and it was a huge, huge mistake!
The house salad was so smothered in oily so called italian dressing the lettuce would have floated in it if it was not so old and slimmy. I had to send mine back for fear of getting sick from it.
The replacement salad left a lot to be desired. I do believe they have no idea what fresh lettuce is. No tomotoes, no pepper nothing but lettuce, artichoke, and a gallon of oil.
I ordered what was suppose to be ministornie soap,, hah it was beef stew. I kid you not it was canned beef soap with some tomatoe base added to call it ministonie.
The other people in my party were very disgusted by their so called spaghetti, the sauce looked like tomato soup. I kid you not it was light orange as if they had opened a can of soup and filled the dish with noodles.
No one ate it.
The waitress did not even ask why no one at the table ate their food, but then again we only seen her twice, when she took our order and when she brought the OVER priced bill for food that disgusting.
If you have Olive Garden on the brain, don't try to satisfy your craving here, you will leave hungry and broke.

We used to love to eat at the Pasta House in Fairview Heights before it burned, so we were excited to see a Pasta House come to Mt. Vernon. Boy, were we disappointed! The food is not nearly as good, the service is poor and the employees have a major attitude problem. The last time I was there, I saw one of the servers throw rolls from a table that had just finished eating back in the bin with the fresh rolls.
Salad was spoiled, pasta was undercooked as was sauce. Extremely horrible experience.

I first want to express my appologies for the dining experienced you found at my restaurant. I recently purchased the operation on the 1st of January and have worked dilligently with the staff to correct some of the ills of the past.
