Darcys Pint

Darcy's had great food but lately the portions appear to have been reduced. They load the plate with french fries to (hopefully) make you think you're getting a lot of food. I ordered a swiss cheese burger: The bun was stale, the cheese looked as if a strip of swiss was poured over the rather small burger. A sign of the times?

Well, my sign is maybe I'll go back and maybe I won't.

I have nothing but compliments to give D'Arcys Pint. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the outside beer garden is great and the service is fantastic. Being a frequent patron I will warn newbies that you must always be prepared to wait for a table. Do not expect to arrive, walk in and get a table immediately, this is part of the experience. This is not a fast food chain. The food I have found to always be supurb. My favorites are the spinach artichoke dip served with grilled pita, the Ruben served piled high with corned beef and the pot roast sandwich. After reading previous reviews I can assure you I have never had a rude waitress and the portions are as large as always. Horseshoes are always served in this area with a quanity of fries. The prices are very reasonable. I once had my order a bit wrong, it was corrected immediately. I might add there were 10 at our table and the place was packed with customers waiting for a table. The volume of food served warrents a minor order mistake occassionaly. For the beer drinker the selection is fantastic. The servers are attentive and personable. I highly recommend this establishment, you will have a great dining experience. Just remember you will most likely have a short wait to be seated.

I have heard nothing but great reviews about D'Arcy's Pint, so my husband and I decided to try it one night while I was at a training. The waitress was very rude, our order was wrong, and the horseshoe, it did nothing for me.
