this is a restaurant that you can go to in a tux or thongs. very nice, very good. no doubt, it is a seafood carnival for your taste buds....

If you are looking for great seafood, this is the place! The lobster is always fresh and consistently flavorful, which for me is paramount and worthy of a trip back.
I also love the fied shrimp, which is actually real shrimp,handbreaded on site, and not something that tastes and looks like it came out of a frozen box.( a certain chain restaurant comes to mind).
Finally, if you have the Certified Angus beef,I don't think you will find a better steak in Springfield. The aged beef cooked medium rare just melts in your mouth. That along with the friendly and capable staff(most seem to have been there for years) make Chesapeake a great choice for your hard earned and probably less frequent "eating out" dollar these days.

I went here on my aniversary. The service was terrible. The food was cold. The entire experience took two hours. Definately not worth the price.
