An utter disaster!!!: Where do I start? The hotel had ZERO ice machines that worked and I had to go buy bags of ice at a grocery store. ZERO vending machines worked as they either were out of order or empty. Hot tub had no water in it. Staff did not give me my requested wake up calls. I basically had to hound them to get them to clean the room and had to go to the desk more than once during the week to get clean towels. Rooms are very small compared to other hotels I have stayed in in Carbondale and elsewhere. Carpet in the halls and in the room had MAJOR damage and hotel had a somewhat unpleasant smell to it. The Indian restaurant located in the hotel is very nice and is the only thing I would consider recommending. Staff was friendly, but obviously inexperienced in hotel management. Price is decent, but still isn't worth what you get out of the experience. What a pain having to go buy bags of ice so I could have a COLD drink.
