POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE…Store has a beautiful choice of prom dresses, shoes and accessories. Customer service was great during the purchasing process-not so great after the purchase. We decided to have the store do alterations-big and expensive mistake. My daughter needed minor alterations that totaled $126.00!!!!! After complaining about the cost of alterations I was assured that their alteration work was top of the line? I give the alterations a D. My sister in law paid $160 dollars for her alterations; she would give the store a F. In addition to this bad experience, I made the mistake of purchasing shoes at Kathleen’s in Carterville. My daughter’s has a small foot, shoes had to be special ordered and we had to pay for the shipping. I could have ordered the shoes on line myself! My daughter needed the shoes for an additional event prior to her prom. When I called about the shoes the store staff informed me that the shoes were at the Harrisburg store with my daughter’s prom dress. (This was a Friday) I asked the staff If the shoes could be brought to the Carterville store (where we ordered them and where we live) they assured me that the shoes would be in Carterville on Saturday! They were not. The following Monday we went for what was supposed to be our final alterations fitting, thinking that the shoes were still in Harrisburg-when we arrived, the owner herself informed us that the shoes had been delivered to the Carterville store earlier in that day. I ask why we were not contacted-she had no answer. After speaking with her- I now understand the attitude of her associates! I have three daughter-WE WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!

She was such a salesman with all those gowns superb.
Well fit, finish and shine.
Price tag I fainted.
I jumped up and let out a scream of joy when she bent down and whispered in my ear...don't worry, Im sorry here let us discount you 25 no 35 percent and forget this ever happened but dont tell everybody or I will have to do it for all the really fat girls that come here and they use up much more material to cover their fat bottoms.
But then I realized my little girl was plump and she was insulting us so we left and went on line and still saved 65 percent.

The people at Kathleen's are very rude. I did not appreciate the way they treated me on the phone or in the store. If you are larger than a 10 they will treat you like dirt. They kept the wedding gown for several months and charged over $300 for the alterations. The dress did not fit properly when she picked it up and it also had small threads and picks all over the satin. When we did a test run on the bustle it didn't go together right. They pretty much ruined a $1000 dress. The bridesmaid dresses they advised us to get fell apart right before the ceremony. Now our $250 dresses can never be resold.
We all wasted a huge amount of time and money with these people. If they had at least been nice it wouldn't have been so bad. Don't go to them or they will rip you off!
