I just read the review below and totally disagree!!! I have had nothing but the best experience at Studio West!!! Kim Hays does my hair and my hair is fabulous!!! I always have the best time gossiping and laughing with the girls and they always treat me with the utmost respect and kindness. I'm a high-maintenance kinda girl so to meet my expectations, they have to be wonderfully talented. The prices are very inexpensive and they always load me up on samples when they have them! I love to go after work! I walk in the door and Shelley (very friendly receptionist) remembers my name and what kind of wine I like and runs to grab me a glass! You gotta love it! Try out my girls! YOU won't regret it! If you don't belive me, check out their other reviews on their website at merchant circle.com. That's where I originally found this little treasure!!!
I called Studio West this morning to make an appointment for a haircut. Shelly gave me a 10:30 cut with Kim ("Asian Kim", not the owner, as Shelly stipulated). When I showed up for my appointment at 10:38, I was denied a haircut because I was late. I kindly told them that I had just commuted 30+ mins in from the city and still, I was told that the person with an appointment AFTER me was early, and therefore she would be helped and I would have to reschedule. Never before have I entered a less flexible, less accomadating, more ridgid salon before. They have lost my business, my sister's business (both new customers) and the loads of business that we would have brought with us. After speaking with the owner of the salon, Kim, I was instructed that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG AT STUDIO WEST. I will never go back here again. What kind of business rejects customers with appointments??

Wonderful Place to Go: I am an Army wife and every time we move the hair stylist search begins again. I am happy to say that I did not have to look far for the perfect place this time. I am totally satisfied with the staff, services and prices. Appointments are easy to get and there are many different types of services available. I am so glad that someone reccomended New Creations to me!
