What a fun place to eat! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere simply comfy. I had the flapper breakfast, a pancake as big as your head, with eggs and sausage. Couldn't finish it all. 4 of us, 3 guys included in the group, ate for $25.00, including tip. Sure beats chain restaurants!
Haurbaughs is the WORST diner places ever.
The dishes are always dirty, their glasses and plates are disgusting.
The food is overpriced for how much you get.
They are very cheap because they will serve you small slices of fruit as a "side"
The service is even worse, you walk in seeing empty tables and the waitresses will walk by you as if you werent even there.
So in conclusion if you want shi**y service, and shi**y food go to harbaughs.
The waitresses and waiters are the best there is and I can only heap praise on them. However, the owner comes off as cold and even a bit rude. There has been at least two occasions when I arrived at noon and couldn't find a seat and I politely asked if I could sit in the 'overflow' area, the other dining area with seats and tables just to the far left as you come in, and she said it was not open. Yet, moments later she allowed other people to sit in that area. I waited a moment and asked if I could sit there now. Again, no. After this happened during another visit I quit going to Harbaugh's Cafe. Love the service and the food is very good, but don't care for the owner's attitude, so I won't be supporting her business. Sorry, but that is something that is important to me: attitude and respect.
