Dairy Queen

I'm very disappointed in the service I received at Dairy Queen. My husband and I took the kids to Dairy Queen for a treat and arrived and the doors were locked. Prior to traveling to that particular Dairy Queen, we called to make certain they would be open. Lacy, the manager advised me that they would close at 11:00pm. We arrived at 10:34pm and the doors were locked. My son and his 3 friends were really looking forward to ice cream and a little more time to spend together. While standing in front of the Dairy Queen, I called again- the 3 employees just standing there looking at me out the window (with hesitation to answer the phone.) I questioned why the doors were locked and the employee immediately put Lacy (manager) on the phone. I told Lacy i called earlier and she advised me they were open til 11:00pm and she replied "I'm sorry- I should've mentioned that only the drive thru is open until 11:00pm." I said, "your sign states 11:00pm too" and she replied "sorry!" Considering there were still people in the lobby, Lacy could've have accomodated her long time patrons by serving us as well. We have been going to that particular Dairy Queen for a long time but I'm so disappointed, I don't know when I will go back!

Dariy Queen always has really good ice cream and food. It is clean and the service is good. Only problem is, they do NOT "hook it up." They weight the ice cream in the cups. They do not fill up the cup they give you. You only get what you pay for.
