When my daughter was younger, I took her in for a checkup. We saw Dr Hoffman since her doctor was busy. He noticed some light brown spots on her and asked me how many she had. (she had like 13) Since I have the same spots and was used to them, I never really paid any attention to them, and could not answer his qurstion. He became very frustrated with me. But he had a good reason to. It was discovered that my daughter has a genetic disorder and the brown spots are 1 of the symptoms. We now go to a multitude of doctors for her condition.
My daughter is a patient of Dr. Hoffman's. I trust everything he says and anything he says to do with her, I do! He knows what he is talking about!I usually always go to the Wentzville location and I love the staff there, they are friendly and helpful as soon as they see us! I've had to go to the St. Charles location a few times and well, not as friendly. I spoke to a woman Carol a couple of times and she is not friendly, helpful and I really felt like I was just another phone call and she didn't really even care why I was calling. She was very rude and I hope I never have to go into the office and deal with her again. These children are our lives and she acts as if her job is 'just a job'! Overall I LOVE Dr. Hoffman, but don't want to visit him at the St. Charles location!
Dr Hoffman is all about his patients. He never talks down to the parents but he does demand your attention. This can put some people off but remember his main concern is taking care of your child, not your feelings. I never feel the need to question his care for my children and he always encourages me to trust my instincts as a parent. Dr. Hoffman is a good doctor and I trust him too.
