This place is the pits! Save your money! The service is terrible and the order will probably not be right. You'll find bugs, alive and dead and probably a coffee cup that leaks all over the table. We ordered the fish from the menu and it was served frozen, literally. This place should be shut down.

First of all, I am surprised that I am only the second person to write a review since 2005. This evening my husband and I visited this location, as we live in the area. (We had a buy one, get one coupon) After being seated, we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Both glasses of iced tea came back almost warm with just a few cubes of ice. My husband ordered an omelet specifiying that he did NOT want the Hollandaise sauce that came on it. I ordered the ham steak with 3 eggs and pancakes. About 5 minutes later, the waiter came back with his pad to "take our order". He had forgotten that he already took our order. After we jogged his memory, he said he remembered and THEN went to the kitchen to place our order. While we were waiting for our food, we could hear much fussing going on between the waitresses and the kitchen help - how things were being wrong, etc., etc. My husband asked for a dinner plate to put his pancakes on because they always put the pancakes on those little plates that are the same size as the pancakes. The plate had dried food all over it. After waiting 35 minutes, the food finally came. There was Hollandaise sauce on my husband's omelet and my order was completely wrong. We were not about to wait another 35 minutes for what we actually ordered and we told them we were going to go somewhere else and left. When we went to another local restaurant, my husband realized that he left his pill box on the table at I-Hop. After we finished eating, we went back to I-Hop and I asked if anyone turned in a pill box. The cashier could not find it anywhere at the cashier's station. He received a phone call just then and I looked toward the booth where we had sat and ALL of the food was STILL on the table! Unbelievable! Needless to say, we will NOT be going back to this location ever again. It's really a shame because this is a south city icon and the people that work there have always been so nice.

consumer: sunday 03-13-05, at approx 430pm ,my fiance and i went to your resturant and ordered breakfast, our server was okay, timing was a little slow on our order, when our food came it looked great until i cut my eggs snd found a hair in them, that wasnt mine quite interesting i guess considering i had been at work all day and wanted a normal meal , the manager never said sorry the waitress refused to acknowlede it and when i went to pay all the did was comp the meal to my surprise, and yours only one customer not returning might not be a big deal however i do not think i'll be back or any one of my immediate family, thats too bad because we like the food thanks for listening John rackovan
