Barb was a long time friend. Someone to talk to and catch up on things with when you had not seen each other for over a year, and it was like no time at all had passed once we started gabbing. I will miss her and her parrot. The day I learned of her death was the day of her memorial service, but I had yet to find out. She helped me to track down my parrots that I let Precious Parrots have and when I got over my serious surgery and tried to bring them home, only to have them treat me horribly. Barb pleaded to them that I at least needed closer because I was grieving so badly. Barb cared and she tried to help me find my last one, and I eventually did. They gave a small one back because it was not a "money maker" but my blue and gold macaw they were determined to keep her from me so they could make big bucks by selling her to breeders. My baby is home, thank God. She (Barb) will be sorely missed as we knew her through being teenagers to turning into the fifty and sixty something crowd. I'm just shocked to the core and have cried many tears since I learned that she had died. Good-bye dear friend, I know you can her me. It just won't be the same neighborhood without you. I will see you on the other side. Your old pal, T. Scott
