Ordered the Brewski and a Grilled Tuna Sandwich. Enjoyed the darker 3 of the 5 samples. The sandwich was average, but I enjoyed the fried mash potatoes.
Fun and Interesting Place: The place is fun and obviously a big hit among crowds. The Place goes on and on for days..dining, outside patio, pool tables, dancing, you can get lost in the action. On the other hand..its very crowded and the dancing area seems to have no AC. So..it gets pretty hot..they do have fans (but it just circulatest the hot air) The beer is priced okay i guess since they serve it in 24oz bottles, but the bartenders can be crabby and alittle ignorant at times. Also, bathrooms are gross, underkept, and soo soo small!
A microbrewery where you DON'T drink their beer: ...and no one else does either.
That should tell you a lot about this place.
It is a sad fact that the Laclede's Landing area has been in steady decline for years (notwithstanding construction of the new casino complex). But that's no excuse to pull punches about Morgan Street. There is just no excuse to call yourself a microbrewery if your beer is so awful that everyone drinks Bud Light there instead. (If you ask me, it should be against the law to even offer other beers if you're a real microbrewery.) But that's the case at this Brewery.
Yes, they do have many levels and several different "spaces" in this bar/restaurant/danceclub/meat-market. And yes, you could do worse as far as finding a place to drink Bud Light or meet people. But there's nothing particularly outstanding about this place... definitely not the beer (or food).
