Food is great. The service needs to get with it. The service has ruined our meal twice. We will never be back!

For a city known for Italian cuisine, you'd think a pasta chain without an Italian accent would fail in the Gateway City. This completely wrong based on the reviews here and my tastebuds.

I have patronized OSF STL for 20 years and I can tell you it is consistent, cheap, filling and delicious. Yes, there are two hour waits, but even then it is worth it.

The chain's concept of rehabbing old buildings then decorating with antiques and nostalgia works here big time.

Whenever I suggest OSF to someone, they choose downtown over the Chesterfield location everytime. This is atypical of most suburban STL locals, most of whom wouldn't be caught dead in the city. I am not one of those.

Make it a point of visiting a place you will get your money's worth everytime.

BTW, the long waits are on Saturday nights and anytime there is a sporting event downtown.

My bestfriend and I were hanging out one day in the downtown St.Louis area, she suggested a place to eat and decided on the Old Spaghetti Factory, later i was so impressed with the service, the food and the atmosphere all together. I love pasta and soups and this was one of the best places I have ever eaten, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those who love pasta as i do, I even had a homemade cherry soda, not the usual kind you buy that's mixed already, but this place actualy makes the drink, and it was great, they let you keep the tall glass it comes in. :) with their logo on it!!
