The food is warm and in a quaint location, If your'e ever in St. Louis, drive 20 minutes to St. Clair, MO and get some delicious food at the Lewis Cafe! The even butcher meat in the bcak of the restaurant.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI LOVE Lewis Cafe! Our friends relocated to this area, we ate there for breakfast and the food was so good we went back for dinner! You can seriously eat every meal there and never have the same thing twice. Very budget friendly, super friendly wait staff and the cooks know their stuff! We will keep going back there every time we visit!!
I personally recommend the coconut creme pie for dessert and for a meal or side the CHILI is the best!!-

They have great food, onion rings are the best, homemade and crispy,cheeseburgers are great, catfish strips good,dailey specials, about anything you would want for breakfast, lunch or dinner.This is a small town, family run business, front part is counter and small boothes, side room opens up with tables, lots of town people meet there to eat, have coffee and visit, early morning, lunch and after church, sometimes you share a big table with others you don't know, you don't have to though, mixed feelings on wait staff, some friendly, some not, but overall a wonderful place to eat with lots of wonderful choices with a downhome feel.
