| About: | The centerpiece of the colorful decor at Carmine's Steak House is the vibrant mural of a carnival in Venice. The homemade toasted ravioli is a favorite appetizer with regular patrons. The 16-ounce veal chop with a port demiglaze is terrific. An equally mouth-watering entree is the filet gorgonzola. When the halibut with rum sauce is available as a special, do not miss it. For dessert try the delicious bread pudding topped with lemon sauce or the Pecan Bourbon Creme Brulee. |

We left our hotel to walk down the street to find the Millennium Hotel that we had reservations at for the next night. We passed Carmine's and decided to eat there Friday night. WOW it was great! From the appetizer to the main meal. My husband love Caesar salads and he said he has never tasted one that was as great as yours. The steak melted in his mouth. My Chicken Floretine was the best. The service was awesome. The next night we went to "The Top of the Riverfront" for our meal. Yes the view was amazing but the meal could NOT compare with Carmine's Steak House. We will tell everyone we know about your wonderful place. Next time we are in town you can bet we will be in to eat. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was in St. Louis (Apr. 08) for a conference. This restaurant was in walking distance from my hotel. What first impressed me upon entering this restaurant was the impeccable service! We had a great waiter! She was extremely professional, personable and knew her stuff! The decor was tasteful and sophisticated. The food was AWESOME. The wine was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBeautiful: A very nice view of the city is the beginning of a great night. Wine is priced surprisingly moderately and the food quality warrants the cost. I suggest, what else? Steak!
