We went with our 17month old and were highly disappointed. We had checked online for coupons and were misled that the child age was 2 and under therefore we did not print the coupon...our mistake. I let administration know there was a site that said it was 2 and under and they just shrugged. The air was broken on the second floor and it was HOT!!! Many of the exhibits were broken. All in all for the $25 we could have gone to a free park and had more fun. Maybe older kids get more out of it, but when most of the exhibits are broken, the staff is indifferent to the needs of patrons, and the climate control is not working my guess is this is only a money maker not a place that really cares about the kids.
This place was WONDERFUL. Not over-priced AT ALL. Worth every penny, my two year old had a blast. Recommend this place to anyone with a 2 year old to thirteen year old. AWESOME!
Sorry, but I found this museum, which is really a large victorian house made over, was
over priced for what it was. Most of the areas were small, and very crowded on the
day we were there. I'm not saying it wasn't nice, just over-rated. I think with all the other
attractions that St. Louis has, this is one that I would not go back to. Of course,
the fact that we have such a nice children's museum in Indianapolis, probably factors into
my feelings. We were disappointed with what it was, compared to all the advertisement
about it. Probably ok for the toddler size children.
