I agree with other review: There should be some way of being able to put in a name and find the directions to that gravesite. Jefferson Barracks has a computer on the grounds in which you can insert someone's name and they'll give you directions and lot number. This would be very helpful with regards to Calvary.
Peaceful and Beautiful: Once through the gates of Calvary Cemetary, you are met with a sense of peace and calm. The grounds are lovely, but it is the history reflected in the sculptural gravestones that sets the tone. This along with the lake and fountain, the newer Mausoleums, and the majestic old trees creates this serene atmosphere. I am comforted every time I go. If you visit by choice, take the historical drive. It gives you a sense of how long this treasured place has been here welcoming families and loved ones. Years ago, you had to take care of your own family plot. Knowing that reminds me of my father mowing his grandfathers plot. When you go, let the weeping angels express your sorrow, but let the strength of the history hold you up.
Useless Web Site: The site for Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum in St. Louis, MO, was absolutely useless. It only gave location and driving directions. Was hoping to get information as to how to locate a specific grave site.

The CALVARY CEMETERY & MAUSOLEUM Web Site is a category of the general CATHOLIC CEMETERIES of the ARCHDIOCESE of ST. LOUIS website. On the Archdiocesan website, each cemetery (including CALVARY) has a major photo gallery, directions, burial records access (by computer), and general location in the St. Louis metropolitan area. IT WOULD BE WISE TO HYPERLINK the CATHOLIC CEMETERIES of the ARCHDIOCESE of ST. LOUIS to this listing so interested persons can connect with cemetery records and images.
