User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA Welcoming Place: I've eaten well in many St. Louis restaurants, but Atlas is a place to come back to again and again. The ambiance is unpretentious: maybe ten tables (I haven't counted them), a small bar, easy-going lighting (for those who like to see their food), the quiet conversation of food-lovers. Every dish I or my partner has ordered has been delicious, beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients; I would call the cuisine Mediterranean Light, traditional dishes with subtle reductions rather than hefty sauces. Meat, seafood, vegetables, bread, desserts—everything comme il faut! The service is efficient and friendly but low key. This is a welcoming place. I just hope a positive review will not lead to so much business that it will be hard to get a reservation
