About:This popular spot features one of the most extensive menus of domestic and international tap beer in the area, as well as a variety of scotches and house cigars. It also offers more than 90 bottled beers and has a great dining menu. The inviting atmosphere reminds guests of an old-country pub, with the clientele being an eclectic mix of class and ages. Among the selection of appetizers, burgers, entrees, salads, sandwiches and soups are such favorites as the white chili soup, which is made with Monterey Jack cheese and jalapenos. Another specialty is the shepherd's pie covered in beer gravy, every diner's delight!

    Good stuff: What a great selection of appetizers and libations to go with them. I love the food-to-beer recommendations. Our family prefers the outdoor seating to avoid the smoke, so it's a seasonal favorite of ours. Great staff, too!

    99 bottles of beer on the wall... and more!: How can I put Growler's into words? You really have to visit and get a "Royal Order of Tasters" card for yourself. Thirty-plus beers on tap, and literally almost a hundred others in bottles (though some are the Hard Lemonade-type swill, so they almost don't count). Fill up your card with the marks you earn by drinking each beer, and you earn a nice pewter mug custom-engraved for you. (You also earn other goodies along the way- such as a T-shirt, hat and plaque.)

    Now I have to give Growler's only medium marks for value, though, since most of those beers aren't cheap. Of course, several are pretty exotic, though, so I guess it's to be expected. If you visit during Happy Hour, however, you can make a meal on their buy-one-get-one-free appetizers. Seriously. DO NOT go away without trying the nachos! Best and biggest in the area! Also of note- the various chicken sandwiches and the black and bleu burger. Now I'm hungry...

    This Sunset Hills location has a great, and expansive, patio area in decent weather. The other (Olive) location has a great little cigar room/patio.

    Growlers, Great Food, Great Fun!: Growler's food is terrific, what a variety. Try their awesome fish and chips or portobella mushroom burger. How about some home baked chips with onion dip. Beer is the specialty at Growler's Pub. You can try beer from all over the world. Who ever knew there were so many flavors. Enter the contest and win a mug engraved for you when you visit. Want to have fun with a spouse or friend, then try playing the quiz game on tv. You can challenge your friends in the bar, your spouse or just play against people from all over the USA. Growlers is truly the best place for Great Food and Great Fun!
