One of my favorites! I love the casual atmosphere, diverse customers, food is made to order (great reuben sandwich, fried stuffed mushrooms, burgers, etc) Working jukeboxes, music memorabilia, darts, pinball machines, etc.
I agree that the menu is not that impressive.
I ran into very rude waitresses and hostesses.
They had us on the list and we were trying to make it to a concert down at the Pagaent. I went repeatedly to ask if we had been called. They kept saying no and finally someone else went up and they were like, "Yeah, we called your name twenty minutes ago."
Not prompt at all, food service was delayed 25 minutes-we were told after they tried to seat us.
This was also on a Friday night, where they should have been prepared.
Too bad this left a very bad impression on St. Louis and the two people that I was with that had never been to Blueberry Hill.
The food is good. The service is average. Concerts are held in a dirty basement.
