I am a new customer at Changes, and I was in there first when they first opened the Spa and had a pedicure done. The service at the salon was great, as was my haircut and color, but when I went to the spa to get my pedi,a woman, whom I found out later was an owner(Cathy) was being very rude to her receptionist, and not at all friendly to the customers.I recently found out from a friend the spa was not in service because of her, but they expect to have it up and running again soon. I am pleased that she(Cathy) is no longer an owner and will not be back! The owner Donna has a great Salon & Spa, and the girls are all very sweet and helpful. I will definately be back for my beauty needs.
obviously sara_t1978 does not know what they are talking about! i have been going to this salon for many years now and i have never seen the employer handle the employees being handled the way sara_t1978 says they are handled. i personally know the owner and the kind of person she is. she would never do anything of that sort. she always treats the customer and the employees with the up most respect there is. obviously sara_t1978 is jealous of the atmosphere there, owner, employees, etc. the salon is not from the 80's. it has the modern look to it but yet still is very elegant. i would recommend anybody of any age to go to this salon. i promise you will not be disappointed with your results. oh by the way sara_t1978 they purchased those posters at the midwest beauty show last year so how could the posters look like they were from the 80's. i love changes salon, the owner the employees and anything else there.
I decided to try some place new to get my hair cut, so I went to Changes. When I got there everyone seemed nice. I was scared when I saw the woman that was going to cut my hair… her hair was horrendous…I felt like I had been warped back in time. While I was getting my hair cut it turned out to be the owner! She was constantly talking about people in the building behind their backs. You could cut the tension with a knife between the owner and her employees. She did not completely pay attention to what I wanted to have done with my hair. She was constantly distracted and I could tell there was a lot of drama. This was simply a horrible experience. However, it would be a great place to go if you wanted to look like you were stuck in the 80’s. Oh and check out the posters hanging in the windows…that’s probably what you’ll end up looking like when you leave. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
