I work in the area and drive all the way to Clayton for my mail service. Not all employees, but most are rude and ignorant. It has happened to me repeatedly and I have watched them belittle other customers. Drive out of your way if your value your packages and/or mail or your dignity.
I sold something on Amazon.com so I went to this post office today to mail it during my lunch. The line was about 4 people long and SLOW (1 person working) so I went to the automated package machine to mail my package. I've used this type of machine plenty of times so I know what I'm doing. I'm about half way through when a post office employee comes over and tells me that my package won't fit in the container and I need to start over It was a larger box but it would TOTALLY fit. So I control myself and say mmm, okaaay.
She makes me start over and she appears to have NO CLUE what she's doing. She gets to the part where they ask if my package will fit, she says no, and they tell her oh, have a nice day. She goes, oh, it's acting funny. Um, lady, it's acting funny because you told it it won't fit, so it's telling you to quit. She starts over AGAIN (!!!) and still doesn't know what she's doing. She's pressing wrong buttons and having to start again and I'm basically just holding my breath so I don't just grab my box and storm out. Ugh. I finally get through, I beleive I overpaid, and my blood pressure is probably through the roof but I got my package sent. Never going back there to mail a package again.
Olivette postal service is the worst.
Postman comes whenever they want moring, afternoon sometimes even at evening.
Mail was constantly delivered wrong. Once I had return the same letter 3 times to the post office,
and "Please return to sender" was clearly marked on the envelope every single time.
