It Was Alright: I had not been to Favazza's in about ten years until one of our vendors took us out. They have great lunch specials and I had a very difficult time deciding what to have. I finally settled on veal with white sauce. It was nestled on the plate with a creamy white sauce and fresh baby spinach and roma tomatoes. The salad that accompanied the dish was filling and had lots of cheese on it (the way I like it). The pasta was cooked to perfection and the white cream sauce had the slightest hint of nutmeg and lots of parmesean. You could tell they didn't skimp on the cheese! Even with all of that, it was still a bit on the bland side, not full of the full bodied Italian flavor I've grown up eating.

The one thing Favazz's has is a good ambiance. It's not really a place that you want to take your children, but you can. You should dress at least business casual to go eat there - it's not like Rigazzi's where jeans and a T-shirt are appropriate.

It's a good place for a first date or if you want to have a 'date night' with your mate.

Great Italian Restaurant: This restaurant is in The Hill section of St Louis, TOTALLY Italian. It's very romantic setting, service is wonderful and the food is to die for :)
