| About: | For garlic lovers, this is the place to dine. Just about every dish is seasoned with garlic which is heavenly. The well-established restaurant has low lighting, which makes for a cozy atmosphere. A favorite among the appetizers is the garlic-potato dip. Pita bread is served with the dip and with most of the appetizers. Vegetarian entrees include sauteed eggplant and hummus, while meat dishes include traditional Middle Eastern ingredients such as lamb and chicken along with beef, all served on a bed of seasoned rice. Shish-kabobs are a favorite among regulars. Order coffee and baklava for dessert. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAfter I've had dinner at Saleem's my belly feels full and happy. The roasted garlic is so tasty. The babaganosh is the best I've ever tasted. I'm not a big lamb eater, but I had a bite off a friend's plate once and it was to die for. The service is fine. The atmosphere is great. I was there one Friday night and watched a beautiful belly dancer performance which made my heart race for several hours afterwards. So, great food, nice people, good for your heart, what could be better.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 stars"Where garlic is King", Definately delivers.: The cuisine is excellent and everything I've ever tried on the menu was great! I definately recommend checking them out the next time you are in The University City Loop area in St. Louis, MO.
