I've held two parties at this location and BOTH times our chef was no fun! He acted bored and made the dining experience a real disappointment. On my second visit, I specifically requested a upbeat, fun chef but once again, we were disappointed. We had 1 people in our group and spent right at 300.00 with the tip. Some chefs make it a wonderful outing or party but I think they pick and choose who gets the good chefs. The food is good but not great.

They didn't live up to the hype: They really didn't live up to the hype. Too pricey. And not all cooks are very good. Some are MUCH better than others. Our chef did little tricks, but he actually just seemed tired and disinterested. I'm sure they get bored sometimes--but can I still please get my money's worth??? The table to the right of us got a vivacious chef who even lit his FINGER ON FIRE like a candle to let the "birthday girl" blow it out. As the birthday girl at our table, I was so jealous. LOL. Of course, the guests at the other table slid their chef a beer. Maybe that "inspired" the chef's performance. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very memorable so it didn't compensate for our mediocre show. Left this restaurant feeling like, "Okay, whatever--what's next?"

Kobe-Olive Street: Great time!! Good food!! Adequate service. Excellent fried rice, and ginger sauce! Filet and lobster were above average. Our chef was very funny, and skilled. We had fun, and were pleased with our food.
