A school with many problems. Our family went there and wouldn't recommend it. We were told by WCA Public Schools were terrible but we found just the opposite. Teachers at the public school taught subjects they knew and were certified as teachers; much stronger curriculum and far more advanced in content. WCA had a young man bring a gun/guns to school but we didn't feel unsafe at the public school like we did at WCA. The school claims to be diverse and caring but we found just the opposite; a great deal of prejudice towards people of different faiths and colors of their skin; it's in the students and in the staff. Our child's class lost about one third of its members throughout the years we attended; that's a high turnover rate for a private school. The school is very closed to parental involvement; you're involved if you're chosen by the administration to be. We've read other comments on Topix about problems at WCA since the nineties and our child saw kids harming themselves and wanting out but many parents didn't listen but we did and we got out. You might try googling Westminster Christian Academy St Louis and see what's being said on those sites. You have to get past WCA's advertising on google (or that's what it appears to be) but scroll down and go read for yourself; read all the entries, the first few are a little much but there are some really interesting comments further on.
Awesome School!: Westminster is a great school! it has a variety of people, great christian teachers and wonderful sport teams! The only bad thing about it is its expensive. i go there and i look forward to going to school everyday!
