They now are telling their customers that if they they don't buy something they have to leave the store. I will definitely be spending my money elsewhere.
The coffee and teas are not stored properly, they do not go by laws of the food industry unless someone happens to come for an inspection of some sort and they hurry up and fix everything quickly so they will not get in trouble. They save tea for days which is a big no-no, that can form bacteria and be deadly. The review above is right on the dot on the employees bringing in their children. They let friends of theirs who are not employees walk behind the counter to make their own drinks or to fill ice for the employees, which they are not insured for. It is unprofessional and "gossip central" behind the counter with the employees. They speak terribly of customers as soon as they walk out the door. They are very childish, like a bunch of high schoolers. They discriminate young people, pretty much anyone under the age of 25. If you are interested in a job there and are young, forget about it. If you DO get hired and you are young, it is only because they don't want to get in trouble for discriminating, and they will treat you like dirt until you quit or will find a way to fire you. They have done this to four employees now, this is what they are known for. If you are employed there, co-workers steal your tips. One employee paid for medical insurance for over a year and went to the doctor and come to find out she never even had the insurance to begin with and the owners never gave her her money back. The items in the gift area are extremely over-priced, and the owners are money-embezelers. They all put on a good act, but the things that go on behind the scenes are disgusting and many people from this area have figured this out. There are good hearted locals who buy drinks and sit outside of the place to drink them with their friends and they treat them like dirt too. They tell them they don't want them out there because of the way they look or dress and it ruins their business. They have lost many customers due to the long lines and waiting periods. Every employee charges you something different for the exact same drinks, the prices seem to change every time. So there needs to be some proper training of the workers. I have heard one specific employee curse behind the counter, very loud. Hannibal needs a new coffee shop desperately. Their internet connection is awful too!
I really wish someone would open another coffee shop. The atmosphere is good, but the employees are annoying and nosy. They yell back and forth from the front of the store to the back, and if you're on a computer forget about privacy. They make excuses to walk past your table/couch constantly, and cran their necks to try and see what you're doing. If they're that concerned with what you're using their wireless for, then maybe they shouldn't offer it in the first place.
As for the drinks, they're average and the service is way too slow. If there are more than 2 people ahead of you, you'll be standing there for 15 minutes at least. I wanted to buy some tea and coffee, but their markup is outrageous. I ended up ordering it direct from the brand's website, and it was $9 cheaper, even after shipping costs!

Couldn't have said it better myself!
You say that you will be spending your money elsewhere, well apparently you weren't spending it there or you wouldn't have been asked to leave. It's called loitering. Look it up if you know what a dictionary is. They are in business to serve drinks for money, not to provide you and your non-spending friends a place to hang out.
