The Game Trader covers every era of videogame, and by this I mean all the way back to the days of pong. It's the only place in the entire metro St. Louis area that it's possible to occasionally find a Commodore 64 cart too. Modern titles and hardware are available as well, and cheaper than most everywhere else. This is no an ordinary video game store, thusly I will travel an inconvenient distance from home to come here. Highly recommended.
This man's knowledge of video games is extensive and very impressive. I actually found myself attracted to him when he was telling me about the history of the nintendo company. I never knew that is was a japanese based company...hmmmm! Anyway, I love the old-school atmosphere-the anything goes philosphy-in the store. The only thing I found repulsive was the stinch of the store and the hygenine of "the gametrader". Besides that, I would have no problem making myself at home and gracefully living forever with the gametrader. Maybe we could even have gametrader babies?
I like the large selection of ColecoVision games and hardware. Also the selection of classic games for obsolete gaming systems. I was pleased with the fact that I could shop at my leisure without pesky sales tactics. Next time I will bring in the family for a exciting game shopping experience.
The only problem is I wish I could stay in the store and play games with the owner for the rest of my life. Until I die I will always shop at the TRADER!!!!!!!
