User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDavid's Bridal in St. Peters SUCKS!!! I've never been so dissapointed in a company in my life! One of my bridesmaids were about 8 1/2 months pregnant and went in to be fitted, the wedding was still 4 months away. She normally wore a size 4 dress, but when they sized her they said she needed a size 10. She asked them if she could order a size 6 because she knew she wouldn't be in a size 10 by the wedding. The sales person would not allow it, my bridesmaid was in tears saying there was no way she would still be a size 10 by the wedding. The sales person asurred us that if she lost the weight her size 10 dress could be taken in. Well about a month before the wedding we went in to pick up our dress and be fitted in them and of course the dress was way to big so they told her they could take it down to a size 4 for only $400.00 and that is after she already paid $150.00 for the dress. Well we weren't happy and asked to talk to the manager who said she couldn't do anything, but give us the 1-800 number which when you call you can only leave a message. I called everyday for a week and a half to have never been called yet. They really caused me the Bride plus my bridemaid alot more stress than we needed and I thought there suppose to help make planning your wedding easier not harder. We had to find someone to make last minute alterations and it really put us in a panic! I HATE DAVID'S BRIDAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThough I was just looking, the sales clerks were very friendly and not pushy. They let me look as long as I wanted without bothering me. The prices of the dresses seemed reasonable. I took pictures of some of the dresses to show my daughter later and that was fine with the staff. As I left the saleslady wished me good luck in finding a dress for my daughter.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCustomer Service: the worst, not a good exsperience at all. Needed alterations done to dress. They refused to do alterations because i had to postpone the wedding till the next year and already was altered once. the alteration I had to pay for the first time. They said once they do the alterations, they will not touch the dress again. Took dress to professional tailor, davids bridal cut into the seams of my dress which was not the correct to do it. Iended up paying an extra $200 dollars for alterations for the mistakes they did to my dress! Total of $400 for alterations that should have only cost $200 total. I would never refer anyone to them - take your dress to a professional.

the only thing i can say about that is just because someone else says that someone altered a dress the wrong way doesnt mean they really did. i know from working with davi's bridal with many of my brides that they follow strick guidelines for their dresses and they alter based off what is given to them by the vendor who designs the dress.

my question about this is why would she buy a size 10 it is her money i truely doubt that anyone forced her to buy that size if she knew that she wore a size 4 thats what she should have ordered. if they told her no why wouldnt she go to management right then and there?
