Oil dipsticks being made shorter? COME ON!: I bought a brand new Sebring Convertable from Century Dodge. Every gas fill up, I had to put oil in the car, because it kept running out, and blowing bluish gray smoke & pinging. I took it in for repair, (as it was still under warrenty) and I told them it kept running out of oil, they told me Chrysler was making the dip stick shorter, so we would put oil in the car more often, all the car makers were making the cars this way now, and the smoke and Pinging was not because it ran out of oil, but to remind me to put oil in it sooner!
I asked them, just how blonde, do they think I am! I may be female, but I'm not stupid! They still refused to fix it or tell me different!
I got them though! I tradded it back to them for another car, so they got stuck with the lemon! (or did you?)
I will never buy another car from them! AND I will NEVER use their Service Department! !
