User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBest steak in the Midwest: Keith's was a tradition in my husband's family years ago and I have become a such a fan over the years that I can't remember a special occasion that the person of honor doesn't demand a trip to Keith's. I have never eaten a better steak, and coming from a farm family that is saying something, and the fries are to die for. Where can you order a great steak, which is huge plenty to take home to snack on later, fries, salad, and warm rolls for $10 per person? Don't forget their signature salad dressing, french dressing topped with blue cheese. Our boys have loved the cheese burgers that are basically ground steak on a bun with all the fixin's. The coffee cups that line the celling have turned into an i-spy game with all the children of our family and made the short wait for dinner a joy instead of that time that stresses parents everywhere. Worth every minute of the 45 mile drive.

What a fine!: Terrific place to eat in northeast Missouri. Hamburger was out of this world (proprietor told me he grinds the meat fresh every day). Can watch them slice the potato for your french fries! Finish with pecan pie. Wow!
