The worst cajun resturaunt I have ever ate at! The food was over cooked & greasy! my daughter went in to the bathroom & got sick & I had stomach cramps all the way home (3 hr. drive!). The jambalaya tasted like tomatoe sauce & the alligator was served with shrimp coctail sauce! I spent 32.00 on food that most of it was left on our plate. If you want good food dont go there!
Absolutely filthy. "Regular" drunks at the bar totally obnoxious. And whoever heard of putting potatoes in gumbo? You want real Cajun head for Louisiana.
I do not like Cajun food at all, so I was reluctant to go here. My son swoons for the gator tail plate, though, and my daughter for the frog legs. I gingerly tried a steak and told them to hold all the seasonings. They did and it was outstanding! Also the house salad; please try it. Went back and tried the oyster poor boy sandwich; very good! Only thing I would change is the bread they serve with the steaks. Need to be a little more adventurous, folks, and put a little character into it. Oh, did I mention the GREAT bread pudding!!
